So this is the only thing I have been permitted to buy since my super strict “no buy” rule I’m on right now. I know it’s not new but I knew I had to have it. So I did a skittles swatch because I’ve already seen it on blues….lots. So here are some I thought might have interesting results. without futher ado- Pure Ice Heartbreaker
So HOPEFULLY I can remember what all of these where. And yes I know I might have made it seem like I was doing very different stuff but that phase is still alittle experimental right now. From left to right. Wnw Black Creme, Sation Oh My Oceania, Sinful Colors Lavender, Sally Hansen Blue It, all with one coat of Pure Ice Heartbreaker. I love this, it really makes things pop. My favorite combo is over the purple, it fills a void for a purple with blue/green shimmer. There’s really not much to say about this because as you can clearly see- it’s awesome. Barely noticable over some of the already shimmery polishes, but I think any creme will dazzle with this over it. Makes OMO look more like I was hoping it would be.
I love purple ( I used to hate that too!) one of my top five favorite colors. I don’t have a favorite color really, it just depends one the day, mood, everything. In not particular order I like black, pink, purple, blue….not sure about green today. Invader Zim cartoon is a color scheme of most of my favorite colors if you know what I mean…maybe a tiny bit more pink then what you see on the show.
Pure Ice Busted 1 coat over Pure Ice No Means No and WnW Creme Black alternating fingers. Very smooth, very sheer, VERY glass flecked, a tiny bit duo chromed…. I like the dimension it adds to the purple but it really pops over black. Love it! I give it a 8.5 out of 10.
Here it is completely on it’s own 3 coats. If you like to wear sheer polishes alone I don’t see why not! This is very pretty.
For those who like to quilt or sew or may recognize the term batik. For those who don’t- it’s a type of dyed fabric. To be more accurate, its a type of dying technique. Not that it’s important to the tutorial you can learn more here. Anyways, getting back on track now. I was admiring a scrap piece of batik fabric laying around my children’s great grandma’s sewing room and thought it would make a fun nail art design. The awesome thing I think about batiks is that not one single square inch is exactly the same as any other. Some places may be shaded a like but not as if it was patterned. (BEHIND the pattern! You know what I mean :P) I had a lot of fun making this video! I hope you enjoy!
